We had a wonderful time in our pre K classroom last week! We had several dinosaur projects going on and then a wonderful visit from Mrs. Renehan. She shared her knowledge of paleontology and brought in special excavation items. Please ask your student about what they found!
On March 14, our 4s and Pre - K classes visited the Farmington Food Pantry. Between the two classes they were able to donate 75 pounds of food! They even had an opportunity to weigh and stock their items. All students left with knowledge of favored items (coffee, soap/ shampoo, and laundry soap) -- and where they can drop off their donations!
We had a great week at The Village Nursery School! We finished up our Chinese New Year Unit and then began celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday. (Don't forget to please ask your student about our balancing activity!) On Monday, we celebrate 100 days of school!!
We welcomed Toby and Kensie's firefighter dads to the VNS recently. As we encourage all our parents to take a moment to discuss your family escape plan in the event of a home fire, we want to also thank both dads for joining us!
